March 2005 ~ Arkaik was in the studio recording their songs for the first EP CD - Pure Sonik Brutality.  Hear and DOWNLOAD BLOOD RED SAND.  The 3 song CD is no longer available for purchase. Reasons for Greg's departure from Arkaik are:  Professional issues within the band were the reason.   Here is an excerpt from Greg's statement he made on April 3rd: "it was fun while it lasted the real problem was that my voice was really raspy in the studio I think it was just a spert but I dont know **** happens I just cant keep up with them they are moving to fast and when I started out I sounded ****y then I sounded good then every other day I sounded good so I think my voice just was breaking in I still think actually I know it is because I can still sound good but **** I will never be as good as Jared so best that he does take it over and thank you all I really apriciat you coming to see the band. . . . I will see you in the pit once in a while if I decide to go to a show ". The other band members will miss him but the betterment of the band is the most important issue.
